Toiletpaper applies its imagery here to an enamel metal medium, based on a principle the publisher summarizes in one sentence: unexpected images combined with familiar materials. The series includes three formats, all in enamel metal: the 26 cm diameter plate, the 17 cm diameter by 8 cm high bowl, and the 10 cm diameter by 9 cm high mug.
Between the different formats, it is the dimensions that make the difference, not the treatment. The 26 cm of the plate corresponds to the standard diameter of a dinner plate: it fits perfectly into a place setting and on a standard placemat. The bowl measures 17 cm in diameter by 8 cm high. The 9 cm high mug is within the height range of standard cups.
Each item features a different design, and several designs are available across all three formats: you can assemble the plate, bowl, and mug from the same image, or mix and match patterns from one piece to another on the same table. Within the same format, the design is the only element that changes: the material and dimensions are identical from one item to the next.
What the publisher specifies regarding care
The three formats in the series carry the same indication from the publisher: "Dishwasher safe." Machine washing is therefore suitable for the plate, bowl, and mug, regardless of the design.
