Toiletpaper applies its imagery here to an enameled metal medium, following a principle the publisher summarizes in one sentence: unexpected images paired with familiar materials. The series includes three formats, all in enameled metal: the 26 cm diameter plate, the 17 cm diameter by 8 cm high bowl, and the 10 cm diameter by 9 cm high mug.
From one format to the next, it is the dimensions that make the difference, not the treatment. The 26 cm of the plate corresponds to the standard diameter of a dinner plate: it fits perfectly into a table setting and on a standard placemat. The bowl measures 17 cm in diameter by 8 cm in height. The 9 cm high mug is within the height range of standard mugs.
Each reference features a different design, and several designs are available across all three formats: you can bring together the plate, bowl, and mug of the same image, or mix and match the patterns from one piece to another on the same table. Within the same format, the design is the only element that changes: the material and dimensions are identical from one reference to the next.
What the publisher specifies regarding maintenance
All three formats in the series carry the same indication from the publisher: "Dishwasher safe." Machine washing is therefore intended for the plate, the bowl, and the mug, regardless of the design.
The publisher provides no other maintenance instructions: no oven, no microwave, and no freezer.
