Artist: Delphine Cauly
Delphine Cauly, a French illustrator, has been passionate about drawing since childhood. As an artist, her work is now linked to a more personal dimension: she uses her birth date as her pseudonym. "Eté 1981" (Summer 1981), her artist name, actually reflects a style all her own. Known as the "Clear Line" (Ligne claire), she depicts her female subjects true to themselves and realistic. Her lines are long, and her inking is consistent, giving her drawings a unique lightness and unparalleled aesthetic. She adapts her drawings into wallpapers, paintings, textile collaborations, and more. Many media outlets and artists call upon her today to carry out all types of projects, most notably the two singers of Brigitte, for whom Eté 1981 has created several album covers.
