Whether you want to lengthen the space or add more interest to your interior, a runner rug helps to unify your home. The Kelim Runner redefines traditional kelim craftsmanship and combines it with Ferm's design DNA and its keen sense for geometric, organic shapes and colours. The Kelim Runners are handmade, which is why the weaving may differ slightly from one rug to another. The weaving technique is the "Punja" loom - a traditional, manual loom and one of the oldest weaving techniques. In addition, the wool yarn is hand-dyed and some variation in shade may occur due to the nature of the wool and the dye. The Kelim weave and the wool yarn have a unique, coarse feel. This is part of the characteristic of the traditional kelim technique.

Graphiste danoise passée par la publicité, Trine Andersen fonde Ferm Living à Copenhague en 2006, à partir de papiers peints qu'elle dessine pour sa propre maison. La boutique propose la maison Ferm Living, des verres et carafes Ripple aux coussins Kelim Merge.

Ferm Living
Ferm Living est fondée en 2006 par Trine Andersen, graphiste venue de la publicité. En 2005, ne trouvant pas de papier peint à son goût pour la maison qu'elle vient d'acheter, elle dessine dix motifs, n'en fait imprimer qu'un pour un salon professionnel danois, et la collection trouve aussitôt son public. Viennent ensuite les stickers muraux, le linge de cuisine et les coussins, puis le mobilier, les accessoires et les luminaires. Installée à Copenhague, la maison défend des formes douces, des matières riches et des détails singuliers.
