Alessandro Mendini's Poltrona for Gufram, introduced in 2014, plays on a contrast that the brand highlights: the lightness of polyurethane against the simulated weight of "faux-real" marble. The armchair has the poise of a block of stone, without the weight.

The marble texture is achieved through a painting process over a Guflac finish, the patented Gufram coating that makes the surface uniform and elastic. The version presented here is white. The armchair is large in size: 153 cm wide, 130 cm deep, and 80 cm high.

La maison

Gufram
