Betty TK12 counter chair by Thau & Kallio

The Betty chair at counter height: seat at approximately 65 cm, backrest retained, crossbar serving as a footrest. This is the height intended for a counter or an island of about 90 cm. There are three seat options to choose from: hand-woven linen webbing, wood, or high-resilience foam upholstery. What the Betty webbing really is

The webbed seat is woven by hand, strand by strand. The &Tradition technical sheet specifies the exact composition: natural linen and polypropylene. Marketing materials often refer only to "hand-woven linen fibers" and omit the polypropylene; we prefer to provide you with the actual material. It is this blend that accounts for the durability of a flexible seat, where linen alone would sag. Two colors are available: natural, and stained black: the latter is reserved for the black lacquered ash frame.
