Lire la suiteThe Tramonto a New York sofa, designed by Gaetano Pesce and revisited by Cassina, is an icon of Italian design. This limited edition of 50 pieces pays tribute to the city of New York, while evoking a reflection on the atmosphere and contemporary identity of a metropolis full of dynamism and energy. This unique piece of furniture goes beyond mere functionalism to become a true architectural work of art.
Inspired by Pop Art, the sofa combines upholstered skyscrapers with an exclusive fabric with a rectangular texture, creating an effect of light and shadow, and a sunset in bright red satin, symbolizing the beating heart of the city.
Tramonto a New York is available in a single size, a three-seater sofa. To guarantee the authenticity of this special edition, each sofa bears a satin-finish steel plaque with the Cassina logo, the year of design, the serial number, as well as the name and signature of the artist, Gaetano Pesce.

Le designer
Gaetano Pesce
