The sofa consists of three modules connected by steel hooks and receivers.

The Quilton sofa range was created by the London-based studio Doshi Levien. In their own words, this sofa is described as “a quilted landscape sofa system”.

This modular sofa range is designed as a central platform for living, working, socializing, and relaxing. It offers a wide assortment of different modules. It is multifunctional, making it completely versatile and suitable for a very wide range of interiors.

It offers flexibility thanks to its modular system. It features generous dimensions and sculpted forms.

The quilted upholstery provides softness and volume to this seat. The foam and wadding cushions bring comfort to this sofa. The suspension is made using Nosag springs, which offer excellent elasticity and long-lasting durability.

Doshi Levien

Fondé en 2000 · Studio basé à Londres

Fondé à Londres en 2000 par Nipa Doshi, formée au National Institute of Design en Inde, et Jonathan Levien, ébéniste écossais devenu designer industriel, Doshi Levien croise culture visuelle et rigueur technique. Chez HAY, le studio signe le canapé Quilton, proposé ici en versions d'angle et 3 places, avec ottoman et coussins.

La maison

Hay

HAY est un éditeur de design danois fondé à Copenhague en 2002 par Rolf et Mette Hay. Les deux fondateurs en assurent toujours la direction artistique, Rolf pour le mobilier, Mette pour les accessoires. La maison travaille avec des designers contemporains comme Ronan et Erwan Bouroullec, auteurs de la collection d'extérieur Palissade, Stefan Diez, Hee Welling, créateur de la série About A Chair, ou Louise Campbell, dont la Prince Chair de 2002 est entrée au MoMA. Depuis 2019, l'américain Herman Miller, aujourd'hui MillerKnoll, en est l'actionnaire majoritaire.
