The aluminum undergoes a chemical conversion treatment to protect it from atmospheric agents, followed by a powder coating that complies with the QUALICOAT standard. A deflector, painted to match the body, can be attached to the top or bottom to create decorative light. The wall lamp is available in three heights—22.5, 50, and 100 cm—with a diameter of 7.3 cm, and features an integrated 12W dimmable LED source.

Patricia Urquiola est née en Espagne en 1961 et travaille à Milan, où elle a ouvert son studio en 2001. Formée auprès d'Achille Castiglioni, elle dessine du mobilier, des luminaires et des aménagements pour les grandes maisons italiennes, avec un goût marqué pour les matières et les formes souples.

Flos
Flos est fondée en 1962 à Merano par Dino Gavina et Cesare Cassina, avec Arturo Eisenkeil, qui importe des États-Unis une résine plastique projetée, le « cocoon ». Son nom, du latin « fleur », est choisi par Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. Dès 1962, Achille et Pier Giacomo Castiglioni dessinent pour la maison le lampadaire Arco, la lampe Taccia et le lampadaire Toio, avant que Tobia et Afra Scarpa ne rejoignent l'aventure. À partir de 1963, Sergio Gandini dirige l'entreprise, installée à Brescia.
