Palissade Cord Lounge Chair

Palissade Cord retains the powder-coated steel frame of the collection and replaces the steel slats with recycled polyester cord, hand-woven onto the frame in a tone that matches the frame color. This change is not merely decorative: the cord deforms slightly under weight and conforms to the body, whereas a slat remains flat, making the seat more flexible without adding a cushion. The weave allows water and air to pass through, just like the slatted versions, so the seat dries just as quickly. The symmetrical geometry and proportions remain exactly those of the original version: both versions blend perfectly around the same table. On a lounge chair, where the entire body rests, the flexibility of the cord is more noticeable than on a dining seat. It measures 164.5 cm long by 65.5 cm wide, like the original Palissade lounge chair, and maintains its fixed angle without any mechanism.
