Brushed stainless steel can be cleaned with a simple damp cloth; a specialized stainless steel cleaner may be used if necessary. Alcohol, bleach, thinners, and chlorinated detergents should be avoided, as they will discolor or corrode the surface, as will scouring powder and abrasives, which would damage the brushed finish.
