Bevel extending table - Ø117-217 - Ferm Living

The Ville AV25 is the smaller of the two outdoor tables in the series: 150 × 90 cm, seating six. The tabletop is made of FSC-certified solid teak, delivered untreated: this is a choice, not an oversight. Left as is, the teak will slowly turn grey and develop a silver patina; oiled once a year, it retains its honey color. The structure is made of powder-coated steel, in Warm Black or Bronze Green. The entire Ville series is designed to be disassembled, repaired, and refurbished rather than replaced.

Living with untreated teak

Teak naturally contains an oil that protects it from water and insects: this is why it has been used in marine applications for centuries, and why it requires no chemical treatment. Exposed to UV rays, it loses its honey color within a few months and turns silver-grey, without its durability being affected. If you prefer to keep the original shade, teak oil applied once a year is sufficient.
