Discover the Kyoto side table, designed by innovator Shiro Kuramata in 1983 for the avant-garde design collective Memphis Milano. This table perfectly illustrates the creative and revolutionary spirit of Memphis, with its bold use of materials and vibrant colors. The Kyoto table is not only functional, but it is also a collectible work of art that draws the eye in any setting. Inspired by Japanese art and architecture, it represents a fusion of tradition and modernity, reflecting the Memphis vision for a design that transcends conventional standards.
The Kyoto table, with its very contemporary look, is made of white Granito: a cement conglomerate with included multicolored glass shards. The top is connected to the base by a chrome-plated metal cylinder.

Le designer

Shiro Kuramata

Memphis Milano
