Heart Lamp wall light by Marcantonio

The Heart Lamp takes the anatomical heart of Love In Bloom and brings it to the wall: the socket emerges from the severed aorta, and the bulb takes the place of the flower. The body is made of porcelain, a material that allows a bit of light to pass through its thin walls while reflecting the rest back onto the wall. The wall lamp is mounted without a ceiling rose or channeling, with the cable exiting through the back of the piece. Its size, around thirty centimeters, makes it a light source for a hallway, bedside, or entryway rather than for illuminating an entire room.
