Alessi 9091 kettle by Richard Sapper. The 9091 kettle features a melodic brass whistle with a unique shape, consisting of two small vents housing the mechanisms that play the notes E and B. Richard Sapper created this kettle inspired by a childhood memory—the poetic sound of boat sirens on the Rhine—believing that the melody accompanying the release of steam should be pleasant rather than anxiety-inducing like the whistling of boilers. This induction kettle is a multisensory object that will not interrupt a pleasant break with a shriek, but with a captivating melody.

La maison

Alessi
