The "638 Basello" coffee table by Achille Castiglioni from 1987 for Zanotta is an innovative piece of design that combines aesthetics and functionality. Characterized by its variable-opening double height, this coffee table meets a multitude of needs while remaining an elegant design object. Its medium-density fiberboard structure, finished with a scratch-resistant embossing, is available in white, black, or burgundy, with a matching varnished steel hinge. Designed by the master of Italian design, Achille Castiglioni, the Basello is an eloquent example of design's ability to improve daily life.

Le designer

Achille Castiglioni
