Good vintage condition. The Lobby Chair was designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1960 for the Time & Life Building at Rockefeller Center in New York. Upholstered in brown Italian leather, it has an aluminum structure. Its armrests are made of foam covered in leather to ensure optimal comfort and the foot can rotate 360°.

Charles and Ray Eames are a couple of emblematic designers of the 20th century. Very ahead of their time, they contributed to the democratization of designer furniture for the general public, in particular thanks to the invention of new industrial manufacturing techniques allowing mass production.
We owe them many emblematic design pieces from the 1950s and 60s combining comfort and ergonomics: the famous Lounge Chair, the DCW chair (Dining Chair Wood) or the armchair RAR (Rocking Armchair Rodbase).

Herman Miller Inc. is an American office furniture and equipment company based in Zeeland, Michigan. Created in 1905, the original company called Michigan Star Furniture was taken over in 1923 by one of its employees: DJ De Pree. The company took the name of the man who helped him acquire it, Herman Miller, his father-in-law, a West Michigan businessman. By the mid-20th century, the name Herman Miller became synonymous with "modern" furniture. Surrounding itself with designers such as George Nelson and Charles and Ray Eames, the company produced creations that became great classics of industrial design. We also include the names of Alvar Aalto, Don Chadwick, Alexander Girard, Paul Lázsló, Isamu Noguchi, Robert Probst, Gilbert Rohde, Gloria Sachs, Don Shepard, Bill Stumpf etc… among the designers who worked for Herman Miller.

Products in stock, shipped via La Poste Colissimo or GLS, are sent within 48 hours (working days). Your order is delivered to your home within 2 to 5 working days for products in stock. A tracking number will be sent to you by email automatically. Larger products are shipped by specialized carrier. You will be contacted to set a time slot at your convenience. We also ensure international delivery of all our products by La Poste Colissimo, GLS or by specialized carrier.
IN-STORE COLLECTION
Products in stock, standard size, are available immediately after your order in our store THE WOODS GALLERY, 22 rue André del Sarte, 75018 Paris during opening hours (check on Google) Please show us your confirmation email when collecting.

EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
The customer has a period of fourteen days to exercise his right of withdrawal and return at his own expense the products which do not give him satisfaction in accordance with article L.121-20 of the Consumer Code , The products must be returned in their original packaging, in resalable condition. Any product returned damaged will not be refunded. PLEASE NOTE: any "personalized" product (choice of fabric, color of wood, custom dimensions, etc.) cannot be refunded: the product is not in stock and is specially made by the manufacturer to the customer.
